OPERATION TLC
OUR BLESSING
Throughout the years, God has spiritually and physically blessed the Saint John Missionary Baptist Church of Boynton Beach, Florida. Those physical blessings encompass a fascinatingly picturesque 1000-seat sanctuary, 20-classroom R.M. Lee Complex, a beautiful Multi-purpose Fellowship Hall, the Old-Saint John sanctuary, the little house, and other properties. Along with these blessings is the Divine responsibility to maintain, care for, upgrade, expand, and improve upon what God has entrusted into our hands. I have witnessed churches that did not give the necessary love and care to the blessing, and now those properties are in the hands of others. Consequently, the blessing has been converted into restaurants, event centers, and others demolished. God has placed it on my heart not to allow this to be our testimony. We will not allow deterioration, neglect, or the absence of a long-term comprehensive vision. Out of this is where Operation TLC is birthed.
OUR AIM
It is our desire to give Tender Love and Care to the blessings that God has bestowed upon the Saint John Missionary Baptist Church, which I affectionally call “The House of Love.” I am fully aware that this is a great undertaking, for the list of objectives is long. However, through phases, your prayers, and your sacrificial donations, we will accomplish being the good stewards that God expects us to be. Your role in this is not just important; it’s indispensable. It is not just the responsibility of the pastor, the preachers, the deacons, the deaconesses, the trustees, and the ministry leaders; it is all of our divine duty to ensure, like the street prophet Kendrick Lamar said,“they are not like us.”
OUR SACRIFICE
To this end, I implore you to make sacrificial gifts above and beyond your tithe and offerings in the contribution tiers below. The need is urgent, and we cannot afford to delay. However, don’t allow the contribution tiers to deter you from ensuring that the fate of others does not become our testimony.
